The annual Fortune 500 list ranking the largest companies in America by revenue includes 15 Florida companies.

Tops on the list is Miami-based World Fuel Services. The largest company in the Bay area is the Publix Super Markets chain (108th) followed by Tech Data Corp. of Clearwater (119th) and Jabil Circuit of St. Petersburg (163rd), the Tampa Bay Times said.

Florida has one less company on the list than it did last year due to the acquisition of the Winn-Dixie supermarket chain by a South Carolina company. However, on the day the list was released it was announced that Florida will gain a Fortune 500 company when rental car giant Hertz Corp. moves its headquarters from New Jersey to Estero, the Times said. Hertz ranks 293rd this year.
