University of Central Florida Arena getting new name

Thanks to a $3.95 million donation to the University of Central Florida over the next seven years, the UCF Arena will now be known as the CFE Federal Credit Union Arena.

Thanks to a $3.95 million donation to the University of Central Florida over the next seven years, the UCF Arena will now be known as the CFE Federal Credit Union Arena, or just the CFE Arena.

The credit union also will have a branch on campus.

What?s more, that gift ? as well as significant gifts from an as-yet unnamed Universal Orlando executive ? have brought the capital campaign over the $100 million mark. Robert Holmes, UCF Foundation CEO, told trustees they hope the gifts will spur more donations from the theme parks.
