SmartSource?announced today the appointment of Chuck DiGiaimo as Director, Mid Atlantic Sales. DiGiaimo brings a proven track record in business development and sales management spanning over 18 years and extensive meeting and event industry experience.
According to SmartSource Vice President, Sales Jeffrey Byrne, ?We are very excited to have Chuck join our team. Prior to joining SmartSource, DiGiaimo served as Director of Sales/Executive Producer, Meetings & Events for NMR Staging & Events (Monroe Township, NJ) where his achievements included the implementation of effective customer retention programs resulting in a multi-year, $4-5 million, key account contract. In addition, he was credited with positioning the company for increased growth through several new marketing initiatives, as well as securing preferred vendor status with select partners which generated significant cost savings for the company.
DiGiaimo?s career also included his role as Director of Business Development/Executive Producer, Meetings & Events with CSI Group (Paramus, NJ). During his first two years with CSI, he increased the company?s client base by over 400%. His other achievements at CSI included: the development of over $3 million in new video and sales meeting business; facilitating significant growth in meeting, new media and web-based business; and formalizing a proposal process for major account presentations.
DiGiaimo served as President/Executive Producer in his own marketing communications company, CLD Associates, Inc. (Pompton Plains, NJ) from 1991 to 2002. In addition, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Impact Communications, Inc. (Parsipanny, NJ). He began his career in sales with Graphic Media as a Sales Director.
DiGiaimo served in U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant with Top Secret Security Clearance. He earned his Bachelor of Science from William Paterson University.
He resides in Pompton Plains, NJ.
