The Bank of New York won a $1.178 million foreclosure judgment against Denis P. Lanoue, who borrowed the money in April 2006 to build a 4,710-square-foot house in Sarasota?s Silver Oak neighborhood.
The house at 9029 Rocky Lake Court is scheduled to be sold at auction by the Sarasota County Clerk of Court on Jan. 11.
For Lanoue, the foreclosure judgment was not his first.
Bayview Loan Servicing won a $697,879 judgment against him in September 2008 and the now defunct Century Bank won a $494,810 judgment in October of the following year.
Both of the loans were used to build houses in the same neighborhood.
